About The happy surfers
Our own story started in front of a bonfire at Taghazout beach in 2017, and The happy surfers started up after many years working in the surf- and tourism industry in Taghazout. We found out we wanted to deliver something better than the typical surfcamp in the area. Something more personal, more authentic! We both share a passion for sunny days outside, whether it is on the beach, in the ocean, on the mountains or on a rooftop with good company!

In Morocco we know where to go and who to talk with. Seen as locals we get the best deals, we know the secret gems and we work with the best activity providers and instructors. You can trust us to show you the best spots and teach you surfing with the best techniques out there.

Meet the team!
Mo is a real people person and loves to show you everything about his home country. As a certified ISA surf instructor he will make you feel secure and looked after in the water, and show you the best surf spots depending on your level and the forecast of the day. After working as a surf manager for large international companies he knows well how to organize big groups of people with different needs and expectations.
Kris is the organizer. She loves to plan and host activities, and make everyone around her feel good and welcomed. As a Norwegian, coming from the cold north, she fell in love with Morocco and moved here in 2018. Kristel has a masters degree in international management from France, which comes in handy when you have to handle different cultures and a wide range of nationalities.
Snow the moroccan husky is the love spreader. She loves to be a part of the pack and makes sure everyone are with us. She is happy no matter what as long as we are all together! Snow is born and raised in Morocco, currently living in Norway, but will always follow for our surf retreats to make sure everyone are feeling loved!
